153RD ANNUAL TOWN FIESTA

MAYOR’S MESSAGE

Maayong aga sa inyo nga tanan! Allow me to congratulate the Municipality of Manapla, Negros Occidental for reaching a milestone in our efforts to promote transparency, accountability, good governance, and the citizens’ right to freedom of information.
I am pleased to inform you that for the past few years the municipality has been able to accomplish many notable undertakings. One of our main assets, tourism is being improved and highlighted by promoting our landmark Chapel of Cartwheels, distinctively build and designed using the architectural principle of Vatican II. Manapla is also a hub for ecotourism, cultural heritage, agriculture, and aquaculture. The town offers a view of Sta. Rosalia’s sugarcane plantation was created in the 1800s which was considered as the major sugar producer in the Philippines.
It is my honor to welcome our constituents to the webpage of the Municipality of Manapla, Negros Occidental. Our aim in creating this webpage is to provide you, Negrenses, the information and accomplishments of our town which we have achieved in the past. With this webpage, we intend to make the municipality more reachable and accessible.
I encourage my fellow Manaplahanons to take full advantage of this webpage with regards to updates, job postings, and other government services and information that will be of help.
Let me end this message by saying there can be many good things that can be done but only a few can be done well. To all of you who continuously support us in every way possible, I wish you all and this webpage success in the future. Mabuhay kag madamo gid nga salamat!
